Hello and welcome to another edition of Elder Castellanos' journey in Price, Utah.
First and foremost to all those who read this. please pray for my sister, Andrea Fernanda Castellanos, that she may recover quickly from whatever ailment may have come upon her. I appreciate any of you that do.
This week was filled with more service. Helping an investigator move and some work on the house from last week. We had super good lessons with Cord, Michael Hunter, Trina, and Nathan Curtis. Andddddddddddddd He got baptized this saturday. It was such an uplifting service. He had 7 family members that attended both his baptism and confirmation on sunday. What a wonderful thing it is to see a family united. That was my testimony yesterday; the power that the gospel has to bring families together. Just thinking back when Guillermo left on a mission and the disagreement it brought at first, yet it did the most to bring us together thus far. I see the same things every day on the mission. Children spreading the joy of the gospel with their less active or non member parents. Even teens being the first in their family to join the church. It truly is a blessing to be able to have a front row seat to every conversion process. Ahhhhhh. Ohtay. So we also helped build a pinewood derby car and it was so sweet! I did all the woodwork in shaping it. For the first time I felt it went pretty well...that might just be my pride though o.O I'll send pics separately because i took them in a big size again :/ sowwy. We had a lesson with Zaharah and she accepted to be baptized after we taught the restoration. It's a true emblem of what member missionary work can accomplish. Her best friend was there answering questions and making her feel comfortable. Just amazing! Other than that I don't think anything else is really noteworthy. I've done a lot of self-reflection with things I need/want to change. The spirit truly helps identify those things if we ask for its help. But just like with all things, we must accept the answer we get and work on it. So hooray for humble chastisement. Hehe But really...we should always strive to acquire more christ-like attributes. Little changes make a difference. "From small and simple things are great things come to pass" Alma 37:6
